This morning, my daughter and I drove out to enjoy a long walk in the woods.... unfortunately, there was a really bad wreck on the highway. We sat in traffic for a while as the first repsonders and sheriff's deputies tried to help the accident victims and steer traffic around them. But that was okay because it allowed us some more Mommy-Daughter time to talk about just any ol' thing... can't have enough of that with a 10 year-old who wants so desperately to be a teenager already...Now I'm making homemade s'ghetti with ground turkey and lots o' veggies! And will put it over whole grain pasta...
I think we will try to go out later today.... if the Mardi Gras parades don't lure us to catch some beads.
So no matter how your plans take a turn, remember, we are all in this together. {:-)
